Ligonier Camp and Conference Center has played an integral role throughout Michelle’s life. In 2002, she was first invited to LCCC as a classic camper and still remembers how much she grew over the course of that incredible week. Throughout high school and college, Michelle spent her summers working at LCCC, creating some of her favorite memories. After graduating from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in International and Community Development, Michelle spent a semester interning with Ten Thousand Villages before pursuing an internship with LCCC from 2013-2014. Michelle would spend the next seven years in Harrisburg working for Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA (feel free to test her Girl Scout Cookie knowledge). During this time, she attended and volunteered with Hershey Evangelical Free Church where she was quick to discover that her small group girls shared her love for LCCC.
Michelle delights in most things life has to offer especially in the company of her fabulous nieces and nephews. So whether you know her as Jinks, Michelle with two l’s, or Aunt Michelle, what remains constant is the joy it brings her to be a steward of an organization the Lord has been using to restore and renew relationships for over 100 years!
